I have just arrived in Turkey from Grenoble as a student. My parents chose a school named HEV for me to go. Everything was ok till I got into the lycee building, because everyone was wearing very fashionable clothes.

I wasn’t wearing appropriate clothes, and I saw everybody looking at me very weirdly. I really want to dress like them but I don’t know how to.

I have been to different shops and malls but I couldn’t decide what to buy. Everybody’s wearing bright colours, colourful dresses, I don’t know how to adopt.

Please help me, I need advice!

I really understand your concerns. You are in a serious situation, for you not to be known as a ‘fashion victim’ anymore. I will definitely help you. I surely know how hard it is to adopt to a totally new and different place. First of all, go talk to people, start to getting to know each other, tell them your concerns as well. I’m sure they would understand you. I do not have any doubts about it. And then, after you find a good and and a trustable friend, go out with her for shopping. There is a mall thas has all the brands in it. Buy fashionable clothes, go to Berska, Zara, Mango or Stradivarius. They are cheap, good and appropriate for your age. Haven’t finished yet! Go buy yourself pretty flats, sweet high heels or converse shoes that all the world wears. Once you are finished with your clothes and shoes, now you make up and hair is left. Go to Sephora, buy some make up supplies by getting advice from the sellers. And do yourself a favor, buy one flavored lip gloss, every likes it! =) Now, your hair, since I am not that young I may lead you wrong, ask your friends. You should be close friends by now.
