| Istanbul is an important city
of Turkey, it is in Europe and the rest of the country is in Asia. Many
European tourists travel in Turkey because Turkish people are young
and dynamic. This country is between Europe and Asia. So, young Turks
were strongly influenced by European schools.
On the European territory, Turkey is secular, it started 80 years ago ( since 1923). Today, the European Commission is debating on Turkey's accession to the European Union. Turkey is considered as one of the major challenges for Europe in the coming years. Turkey in Europe, is this more than a promise ? Turkey has got an overwhelmingly muslim population and socio-economic conditions well below the European average.
