George WASHINGTON

George Washington was born in Virginia, on February 22nd, 1732 and he married a rich widow, Martha Washington, in 1762.

He became the first president of the USA against John Adams on March 4th, 1789.

He is considered one of the Founding Fathers of the USA because he played a very important role in the formation of the country. He was one of the political leaders who signed the Declaration of Indepence in 1776.

Finally he retired in 1797, and he died on December 14th, 1799
