Thomas Jefferson was born on April 13th, 1743 and he died on July 4th, 1826 in Monticello. He had nine brothers and sisters. He married Martha Wayles Skelton and they had six children.
He was the third president of the U.S.A from 1801 to 1809. He was the main author of the Declaration of Independence (1776). He was also an engineer, an architect, an inventor and a philosopher.
