Manon’s Deliciously Chocolatey Nutella Roll by Anna

This is the perfect recipe for all you chocolate (especially Nutella) lovers. It’s a quick and easy recipe to make the best Nutella roll ever. As it was so good, it had all gone by the time I went to get a slice!

Ingredients : 3 eggs, separated 100 g sugar 80 g flour 4 tbsp. of rum (for adults only) Nutella

Method: 1.Preheat the oven to 180°. 2.Whisk the egg whites until they form stiff peaks. 3.Next, in a dish, beat the egg yolks and sugar together. 4.Add the flour and mix well, add the egg white mixture and combine the ingredients together slowly. If you are using rum, you will need to add it at this point. 5.Place aluminium foil onto a Swiss roll baking tray. 6.Pour the mixture on top of the foil. 7.Bake in the oven for at least 10 minutes, until it becomes light brown in colour and springy to touch. 8.Once out of the oven, place the baking tray on a damp cloth to cool down. 9.Once cooled, spread Nutella onto the sponge. 10. Gently roll up the sponge. 11. Finally, sprinkle sugar on top of the roll. You can sprinkle the sugar if you want to, it just adds a little more sweetness to the roll.
